Frequently asked Questions
This is also known as the Lord’s Supper. The Holy Communion consists of two elements:
The Bread which represents the body of our Lord Jesus that was broken for our healing and
The Wine (Drink) which represents the blood of Jesus shed for the forgiveness of sins.
The Holy Communion reminds us of God’s greatest demonstration of His Love for us—He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for us.
Our Lord Jesus reminded us to partake of the Holy Communion as often as we can in remembering Him (1 Corinthians 11:23-25).
The early Church in the book of Acts gathered together daily and broke bread from house to house (Acts 2:46).
For individuals and families, we recommend a daily partaking of the communion and as for groups and churches, as often as you meet. For example, if a church meets twice a week, then you can partake twice a week. If you only meet on Sundays, then you can partake every Sunday.
Take the bread in your hand and say this prayer: (You can adapt it to suit you)
Thank You Lord Jesus for dying for me on the cross. You were wounded for my sins and crushed for my transgressions. By Your stripes, I am healed and made whole in every area of my body. (Amen.) Go ahead and eat the Bread.
Take the drink in your hand. To open the cup, pull back the small tab on the lid. Say this prayer: (You can adapt it to suit you)
Thank You Lord Jesus for shedding Your blood for me on Calvary’s cross. By Your Blood, I have forgiveness of sins. By Your Blood, I have been declared righteous. So, I stand before you as the righteousness of God in Christ. (Amen.) Go ahead and drink the juice.
In Bible times, the bread was made from flour mixed with water and baked. The recipe in our prepackaged communion cup follows closely to that used in Bible times. The Mmeyou packaged communion wafer and cracker bread is made from wheat flour and water. The gluten free wafer is also made from a special wheat flour called Cerestar in which the Gluten content (protein contained in wheat) has been removed to the Gluten Free level.
The packaged communion drink is made from red grape juice (from Concentrate) with no added sugar, sweeteners, or flavours. Simply red grape juice with preservatives to keep the drink fresh.
Our drinks can be stored in a cool and dry place.
Please avoid extreme hot conditions.
The communion element can be stored in ambient conditions, however you may wish to keep cool and fresh under refrigeration.
During transit, sometimes the communion cups may move around and cups may open. Remove any cups which may have opened during transit.
